David Hart

David Hart joined Hart Realty Advisers (HRA) in 1985 and serves as Principal and Chief Executive Officer of this privately held real estate investment management firm.  He is responsible for all significant decisions regarding the firm, in addition to formulating and overseeing its corporate strategy.  David Hart is also responsible for sourcing capital and managing existing client relationships while working with senior managers to execute and meet client needs.  He is a member of the firm’s Management, Acquisition, and Investment Committees.

HRA invests in core, core plus, value-added and development opportunities in all four property types and is geographically diversified throughout the United States.  In its 30-plus years, they have acquired or developed either directly or through joint venture structure approximately $2 billion in real estate.  This includes the development and acquisition of stabilized multi-family and industrial properties; office building repositioning and dominant infill grocer-anchored shopping centers.  HRA works continuously to understand the needs of its clients while protecting the downside risk of its clients thus maximizing their investment return.  Today, HRA oversees approximately $550 million of commercial real estate assets.

Mr. Hart is a board member of The House of Bread, a non-profit organization that provides food, shelter, and education to disadvantaged men, women and children and is a Corporator of The Village of Family and Children, both in Hartford, Connecticut.  Mr. Hart is also an Alumni Board Member of the Real Estate Academic Initiative at Harvard University.
