MEREDITH RICHARDSON

AB ’88


Mr. Richardson has over 35 years of experience in commercial and residential real estate, coupled with a lifelong passion for building and construction. At the age of 16, he designed and constructed his first building. He is currently the owner of Richardson Properties, a private firm specializing in residential development and management in Maine. Earlier in his career, he worked with Spieker Properties, an office and industrial REIT that owned and operated 38 million square feet of property across the Western United States.

Mr. Richardson graduated magna cum laude from Harvard College with an AB in Visual and Environmental Studies. He went on to earn an MBA from the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley, specializing in Real Estate, where he was awarded the Marshall Bennett Scholarship, presented to the top real estate student in the MBA program.

In honor of the life-changing role Harvard College played in his father’s life, Mr. Richardson is a dedicated supporter of Harvard College. He is a President’s Associate and Volunteer with the Harvard College Fund, and a member of the 1636 Loyalty Society. He participates in the Harvard Host Family Program, helping incoming students adjust to life on campus, and served as a Convocation Marshal for the Class of 2029. He also serves on the Host Committee for the Phillips Brooks House Association SUP Auction, which supports student-run summer camps for more than 600 youth and teens throughout Boston and Cambridge. In addition, Mr. Richardson is a member of the Harvard Alumni Real Estate Board and the Board of the Harvard Club in Maine, where he recently hosted the largest gathering in the Club’s history, dating back to 1878.
