student programming
Each academic year, the Harvard Alumni Real Estate Board (HAREB) builds and sponsors a robust calendar of hands-on training and experiential learning opportunities for the student cohort to complement and build on the depth and breadth of the University’s real estate education. This programming is open to students from Harvard College, the Graduate School of Design, and the business, law, and Kennedy schools. Student programming includes:
career treks
Engage in treks to visit public and public-sector real estate companies across the spectrum of industry sectors and geographies.
mentoring OPPORTUNITIES
Connect with Harvard Alumni Real Estate Board members, participate in mentoring breakfasts and résumé reviews, receive career advice, and build mentoring relationships.
networking events
On-campus and around the world. Connect with fellow students, alumni, and industry leaders while expanding your professional network.
guest speakers and panels
Hear from a wide range of industry leaders, gain an in-depth understanding of the diverse sectors in the field, and acquire the tools to forge a successful career in real estate.
PROFESSIONAL training
Participate in training workshops to gain experience in modeling real estate cash flows in ARGUS, and real estate financial modeling across all property and investment types in Microsoft Excel.
Harvard students who are interested in participating in HAREB programming should contact HAREB’s Executive Director Cynthia Henshall at cynthiah@harvardareb.org or their school's Real Estate Club leadership.
