ELIZABETH MACK

As Chair of Locke Lord LLP’s Real Estate and Finance Department and Firm-wide Environmental Section – Real Estate and Corporate, Elizabeth Mack is the leader of a group of strong and dedicated environmental practitioners. Elizabeth specializes in brownfield redevelopment work, bringing practical and creative solutions to environmental challenges.  Licensed in Texas and Massachusetts, she is currently managing or overseeing environmental remediation activities at projects in more than 30 states through state run corrective action or voluntary programs. In additional to state programs, Elizabeth works with such diverse federal statutes as the Clean Air Act, the Clean Water Act, CERCLA, Endangered Species Act, RCRA, the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA), NEPA, and the Safe Drinking Water Act.  Elizabeth also has substantial experience in environmental compliance, environmental litigation, and environmental transactional work. 

Elizabeth received her Bachelor of Arts, with Honors from Northwestern University in 1985, and her Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School in 1988. Among other honors, she has been recognized in Chambers USA and named in The Best Lawyers in America for Environmental Law.
