Ferne Traeger


Ferne Traeger is a seasoned psychotherapist and executive coach. For over 30 years, Ferne has combined her experience in business management and clinical practice to assist executives and professionals with career, life and organizational transitions. She has advised numerous entrepreneurs through multiple stages of growth, members of family businesses and family offices, and executives and professionals in many differentindustries including financial, legal, the arts and real estate.

Ferne also advises professional women as they return to their careers following a hiatus, typically to raise families. Ferne works with both individual and corporate clients,including financial institutions and top tier law firms, to help support an employee’s transition to working parent and to help attract and retain top female talent.

Ferne has Master’s Degrees from Columbia Business School and NYU Silver School of Social Work, and is a magna cum laude graduate of The University of Pennsylvania. She is a Training and Supervisory Analyst at The Contemporary Freudian Society and holds a Certificate in Executive Coaching and Organizational Consulting.

Ferne is a Member of The Dean’s Council at NYU Silver School of Social Work. Othermemberships include The Women’s Mental Health Consortium, The Columbia Business School Club Of New York and The Lotos Club.
