Maarten Deschaumes is the Founder and Managing Partner of Lands End Capital, a real estate investment firm focused on value-add multifamily, retail, and industrial properties across the United States. Founded in 2022, Lands End Capital has grown from zero buildings to a portfolio of more than 100 properties under ownership and management. Over the past several years, the firm has become San Francisco's most active buyer of multifamily and commercial properties by transaction volume and has emerged as a leading acquirer of small-bay industrial assets across key U.S. markets.

Prior to Lands End Capital, Maarten was a real estate broker and advisor, structuring and executing transactions on behalf of institutional investors including LaSalle Investment Management, Physicians Realty Trust, Harrison Street Real Estate Capital, and The Carlyle Group. Earlier in his career, Maarten contributed to Bridge Investment Group's core-plus investment strategy, which focused on mission-critical industrial and infrastructure assets.

Maarten completed his undergraduate studies with highest honors at the University of California, Los Angeles, earning degrees in Political Science and Entrepreneurial Management. He earned a Masters in Real Estate from Harvard University, where he was named a Pension Real Estate Association Scholar and split his studies equally between the Graduate School of Design and Harvard Business School.
