Phil is President of The Haughey Company, a small family-run Real Estate, Investment and Development firm located in Brighton, MA. With retail, office and industrial properties in MA, NH an ME. The firm also owns 3 parking garages in Portland, ME.

Phil was involved in the shopping center leasing in the 0’s and early 60’s and later joined Star Market Company as its Real Estate Representative. Later he became Real Estate Manager, following which he formed The Haughey Company, later joined by his 2 sons Chris and Phil, Jr.

Phil is a 1957 graduate of Harvard College and earned 3 Letters in football, baseball and basketball. He is past Chairman of The Friends of Harvard Football, past Chairman of Harvard Baseball and served as Chairman of Harvard’s Visiting Committee on Athletics. Additionally, he served as Chairman to The Nomination Overseers and Directors of Harvard University. He also served as President of The Harvard Club of Boston 2007-2010.
