Sam Rashin

Sam Rashin is a Senior Director in Investment Management at Hines and serves as Assistant Fund Manager of the Hines U.S. Property Recovery Fund, a closed-end, diversified real estate fund investing across the United States. In this role, he is responsible for developing and executing the Fund’s investment strategy. Hines is a global real estate investment manager, developer, and property manager, with approximately $91.7 billion of assets under management across residential, logistics, retail, office, and mixed-use strategies.

Previously, Sam was a Director in Investment Management at Hines, where he worked on two separate accounts: a global build-to-core development strategy and an opportunistic investment vehicle focused on investments in Canada. He began his career with Hines as an Associate in New York, working across development, acquisitions, and asset management. Prior to attending business school, Sam worked in management consulting at Bain & Company and in state government.

Sam earned a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Williams College.
