Adam Barzilay

Adam Barzilay is a Managing Partner at ARB Investments a private real estate investment platform that provides best in class multifamily repositioning, investment and development. ARB Investments has strategic partnerships with local sponsors throughout the country with concentrations in Durham, Los Angeles, Austin, Salt Lake and Portland.
Previously, Adam was a Co-Founder of DB Capital, a value add multifamily investment group. In his role at DB Capital he specialized in all aspects of deal sourcing, capital structuring and was a key member of the firm’s investment committee. He was also a Partner with MJW Investments and spearheaded the expansion of the company's student housing portfolio from a few hundred beds to over 5,000, ranking the firm among the top 25 largest owners of student housing in the country. He also played a key role in the management and operations of MJW's real estate investments.
Before joining MJW Investments, Adam was a Senior Vice President at Toll Brothers Inc. (NYSE: TOL) for over 10 years and was responsible for the project management, sales and construction for both the San Diego and Los Angeles Metro Divisions. Adam sourced and led due diligence on over $150 million in new land investments. Before moving to the Los Angeles area, Mr. Barzilay held a variety of management positions at Toll Brothers City Living Division in the northeast and led several of the firm’s first higher density development projects.
Adam started his career as a Financial Analyst in Credit Suisse's Real Estate Fixed Income Division. He holds a Master in Design Studies with a concentration in Real Estate Development from Harvard University and an accelerated Bachelor and Master of City Planning degrees in City Planning and Urban Studies from the University of Pennsylvania.
