Alex Kozak-Mehta is Director of Development at Greystar, the global leader in rental housing and the largest multifamily developer and builder in the United States. At Greystar, Ms. Kozak is responsible for the sourcing, entitlement, design, capitalization, and development of ground-up multifamily projects along the western coast of Florida.

Mrs. Kozak-Mehta joined Greystar from Rockefeller Group in New York where she worked on several luxury high-rise residential development projects in Manhattan and Brooklyn. Notable projects include 16 Dupont Street, a 380-unit luxury multifamily project in Greenpoint and Rose Hill, a 160-unit luxury condo project in NoMad.

Prior to joining Rockefeller Group, Mrs. Kozak-Mehta worked in acquisitions at Harrison Street, managing the life cycle of transactions from initial underwriting through closing. Her completed transactions – totaling over $800M – included acquisition, development, and adaptive reuse projects spanning core, core-plus, build-to-core, value-add, and opportunistic investment strategies.

Mrs. Kozak-Mehta received her Master of Real Estate degree from the Harvard Graduate School of Design where she focused on real estate development and design. She is a member of the Urban Land Institute, formerly serving on the Membership Subcommittee of the Women’s Leadership Initiative, and is a member of the Harvard Alumni Real Estate Board. Mrs. Kozak-Mehta graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor’s of Business Administration from The Ohio State University’s Fisher College of Business, with dual specializations in Finance and Real Estate. She currently serves as a mentor and speaker for the Ohio State Center for Real Estate.
