Brian P. Ward is Chief Executive Officer and a member of the Board of Directors of Broadmark Realty Capital. Prior to joining Broadmark on March 1, 2022, Mr. Ward was a Senior Advisor for Trimont Real Estate Advisors and Trimont Global and, prior to November 2021, was the CEO and responsible for all functions of the company and its affiliates worldwide. Mr. Ward also served on Trimont’s Board Directors and chairs Trimont’s internal advisory council, security committee, and executive operating committee.

Mr. Ward is an active member of the Washington Bar. He is a member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI), where he serves on the Global Exchange Council, is a member of the Commercial Real Estate Finance Council (CREFC) in both the United States and Europe, and is on the Board of Trustees for the United States Committee For Economic Development (CED).

Mr. Ward also serves on the Board of the New York University Schack Institute of Real Estate. Mr. Ward is a regular guest commentator on CNBC and Bloomberg in connection with the global real estate capital markets.

Mr. Ward is passionate about advancing workplace diversity and the careers of young professionals worldwide, and is an active supporter of the Feinstein Institute for Medical Research and the Atlanta Opera. Mr. Ward is an alumnus of Harvard Business School and and Willamette University.
