Deepa Janha

Deepa Janha leads asset management at Langdon Park Capital. Janha is responsible for creating institutional-level asset management policies and procedures, in addition to assisting with new business development, fostering strategic partnerships with market specific, mission-aligned, non-profit organizations primarily focused on uplifting Black and Latino communities through curated key program strategies under Resident and Community Services for the firm. Janha also sits on the firm’s Investment Committee.

Prior to joining Langdon Park Capital, Janha was Vice President, Asset Management and Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion for CenterCal Properties, a retail led, mixed-use developer, where she led the company’s asset management and DEI initiatives. Prior to joining CenterCal, Janha was a Principal for Hidden Park Advisors, serving clients in real estate, education, non-profit, entertainment and technology. Preceding that, Janha worked as a Senior Asset Manager for Equity One, Inc., a national REIT, managing over six million square feet in mixed-use properties across the U.S. with a combined portfolio valuation of approximately $2B.

Janha also had a 12-year tenure at AEW Capital Management, where she spent time in Investor Relations, Direct Investments Asset Management, and Accounting. She has several years of experience working in real estate investment management across nearly all property types and served as a Senior Asset Manager at AEW before joining the AEW Investor Relations team, where she was responsible for new business development and client services. As Senior Asset Manager, she oversaw a mixed portfolio of over six and one-half million square feet in properties exceeding $5B for direct investments and joint venture institutional clients.

Prior to joining AEW, Janha worked as a project consultant at Goldman Sachs in their Private Wealth Investment Management group. Janha is an advocate for increased diversity in commercial real estate and is an active member of the Real Estate Executive Council (REEC). Her community outreach includes being a proud, lifetime member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and former Founder of Girls Gaining Momentum.

Janha serves as a Board member for the DJ Henry Dream Fund and is the Chair of the Board for The Private School Village. She also sits on the Pension Real Estate Association’s (PREA) Social Impact Committee and a member of the Harvard Alumni Real Estate Board.

Janha received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Massachusetts, her MBA from Northeastern University and Harvard University’s only executive development and leadership program in real estate, AMDP.
