Matt Ciccotti is a Director in the Hines Los Angeles office, where he is responsible for executing projects and sourcing new business across a range of property types and investment strategies. Hines is a global real estate investor and developer that operates in 28 countries and manages a $92B portfolio of high-performing assets across residential, logistics, retail, office and mixed-use strategies.
Prior to joining Hines, Matt worked for eight years at LIVWRK, a Brooklyn-based boutique development firm focused on adaptive reuse in creative class submarkets in New York and Los Angeles. In his time at LIVWRK, Matt ran all aspects of the firm’s acquisition efforts, including as transaction lead on over $2 billion of development deals.
After studying real estate finance and urban planning at the University of Pennsylvania, Matt received an advanced degree in real estate development from Harvard University, where he studied at the schools of business, law, design and government. Upon graduating, Matt was awarded the Ferdinand Colloredo-Mansfeld Prize for Superior Achievement in Real Estate Studies at the Harvard University Graduate School of Design.
