Nicholas Lillig

Nicholas is Managing Director of the Midwest/Southeast Regional Mortgage Production Office for Pacific Life based in Oak Park (Chicago), IL. As Managing Director of a 16-state territory, he orchestrates all marketing, origination, and underwriting efforts to secure real estate mortgage investments for Pacific Life portfolios. During his tenure with Pacific Life, he has secured in excess of $7 billion in investments for Pacific Life.
Pacific Life places permanent fixed and floating rate first mortgages on all the major property types. Pacific Life further provides non-recourse, fixed rate and variable rate construction financing nationwide.
Nicholas joined Pacific Life in 1989 as a Senior Real Estate Analyst. After serving as Director of Acquisitions and Sales in the Newport Beach home office, Nicholas moved to Chicago in 1994 and changed his focus to handle mortgage originations, stepping into the Managing Director role in 1989. Prior to Pacific Life, Nicholas worked in Chicago for a development firm, Cook County Board of Tax Appeals, and a real estate syndicator. Nicholas holds an AB in Economics from Harvard University and an MS in Real Estate from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. Nicholas lives in suburban Chicago with his wife Marie, and they have two adult sons Conner and Nicholas, Jr.
Nicholas is a member of ICSC, ULI, MBA, NMHC, and serves on the Harvard Alumni Real Estate Board, in addition to the University of Wisconsin James A Graaskamp Center for Real Estate Board.
