Nicholas Lillig

Nicholas is Managing Director of the Midwest/East Coast Regional Mortgage Production Office for Pacific Life based in Oak Park (Chicago), IL.  As Managing Director, he orchestrates all marketing, origination, and underwriting efforts to secure real estate mortgage and equity investments for Pacific Life portfolios, covering a 31 state territory.  During his tenure with Pacific Life, he has secured in excess of $5.5 billion in investments for Pacific Life.

Pacific Life places permanent fixed and floating rate first mortgages on all the major property types.  Pacific Life further provides non-recourse, fixed rate construction to permanent financing for apartments nationwide.

Nicholas joined Pacific Life in 1989 as a Senior Real Estate Analyst.  After serving as Director of REO Acquisitions and Sales in the Newport Beach home office, Nicholas moved to Chicago in 1994 and expanded his role to handle mortgages.  Prior to Pacific Life, Nicholas worked in Chicago for a development firm, Cook County Board of Tax Appeals and a real estate syndicator.  Nicholas received an AB in Economics from Harvard University in 1986 and an MS in Real Estate from the University of Wisconsin – Madison in 1989. Nicholas is married to Marie with their two sons Conner (19) and Nicholas, Jr (20).

Nicholas has over 30 years of real estate investment market experience and is a member of ICSC, ULI, MBA, NMHC, RELA., and a board member with the University of Wisconsin James A Graaskamp Center for Real Estate and the Harvard Alumni Real Estate Board.
